Best Activities Award For the chapter that showcases the best programs that promote NSMH, diversity, professional development, and the hospitality industry. Best Publicity Award For the chapter that uses unique opportunities to market NSMH on campus and in the community and also sends regular submissions to the NSMH INFORMER newsletter. Best Membership Drive For the chapter that has the best recruitment and retention of members. Best Newsletter For a newsletter that is both informative and innovative. It must be a creative representation of the local NSMH chapter. Most Traveled Award For those that made their mark on the industry by representing themselves at various industry events. Best Scrapbook Award A creative presentation of all the activities of the chapter for the year. Chapter Exhibit Award Taking the scrapbook to the next level by creating a unique display at the National Conference. Highest GPA Award Two versions- Individual and chapter- the numbers will speak for themselves! Chapters can apply for as many awards as they wish. We would caution, however that chapters should make sure they allot the proper time to each award. Judges can tell which applications are more creative and competitive versus those that are thrown together.
