NSMH is the premier professional organization for minority hospitality students.
The National Society of Minorities in Hospitality (NSMH) has grown tremendously from four visionary leaders at Cornell University in 1989, to over 1,000 students from over 50 college and university campuses across the country. Since its inception, NSMH has been a non-profit, student run professional organization, working in conjunction with its corporate supporters to establish a working relationship between the hospitality industry and minority students. |

With respect to students and education, NSMH aims to be a total resource center. We address diversity and multiculturalism, as well as career and leadership development. We provide events and programs that bring together college-level students with company sponsors, industry representatives, hospitality associations, advisors, mentors, and high school students. |

NSMH is the place for students to find real world answers to their questions and for companies to access dynamic talent to place into their organizations. Our nationally recognized career fair is the ultimate place for internship and job opportunities, and the educational programs provided by NSMH throughout the year are unique chances to gain knowledge not offered in the classroom. |
