NSMH Discounted Airport Transportation. Have a safe flight back home! This is a Tentative Agenda, Subject to Change Without Notice

This is a Tentative Agenda, Subject to Change Without Notice *NSMH Pre-College Outreach Event will be held at Schenley High School in Pittsburgh, PA. Members are encouraged to attend as we promote NSMH, higher education, college life and careers in hospitality to local high school students. The program will include an opening tribute to NSMH and college life performance, member testimonials, dynamic speakers and an opportunity for networking between NSMH and the junior and senior class of Schenley High School. We want NSMH to truly “represent” so please come early and participate.
We are calling all fraternity brothers, sorors, honor society members, band members…any auxiliary organization members of NSMH to attend and participate by wearing your NSMH attire, fraternity/sorority shirts, university attire, chef coats, band uniforms and other attire that represents NSMH, your university, college life or hospitality careers.
NSMH will provide transportation from the Westin Pittsburgh Convention Center Hotel Thursday morning beginning at 8am. Members are encouraged to arrive Wednesday night if you’d like to be a part of this groundbreaking pre-conference event. NSMH will provide dinner and a* limited number of overnight sleeping accommodations on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 for those who participate. Please contact hq@nsmh.org for questions or to RSVP to participate in this event.
Attention: Do you have a special story that led you to hospitality as a career? Was your path to college full of obstacles and detours? Are you the first of your family to attend college life? If you answered yes to any of these questions or feel you have a motivating story that will encourage high school students, please contact hq@nsmh.org .
We are seeking individuals to not only highlight at this event but to include in a pre-college publication that will be distributed to Schenley High School and other schools across the country.
We are also looking for fraternity/sorority members (advisors and industry professionals, this includes you) to participate in an opening step/party hop style unity presentation. Please email hq@nsmh.org for details.

*Limited numbers of sleeping accommodations will be provided by NSMH. You must confirm your participation to be placed in a room. Once confirmed, you must provide a copy of your travel itinerary (if flying) or travel schedule (if driving). To participate, please email hq@nsmh.org. Put “Pre-College Outreach Program RSVP” in the subject line. In the body of the email please include your name-university name-classification- clubs, honors groups, fraternity/sorority affiliation, athletic team affiliations, other extracurricular activities-employment location along with if you plan to arrive Wednesday night (recommended) or Thursday early morning (if you plan to arrive Thursday morning, your flight would have to arrive at 6am at the latest to arrive at the hotel in time for the event).

**Attention Corporate Sponsors, Industry Professionals and Graduating Seniors Join the Hospitality Industry Professional Extension (HIPE) of NSMH as we hop aboard an authentic reproduction of a river boat with the Gateway Clipper Fleet of Pittsburgh, PA. Land is dry but we plan to make a huge “splash” aboard this climate-controlled party liner. Once aboard enjoy light appetizers, music and a cash bar. We will embark on the cruise after the NSMH Opening Session from the David Lawrence Convention Center. We will set sail and cruise the “three rivers”-Monongahela, Alleghany and Ohio Rivers- until midnight. Catch up with old friends, network, dance or just enjoy the three river sites of Pittsburgh. There is an additional fee for this event and the event is for professionals and NSMH graduating seniors only (no other students please). Cost: $20-Graduating Seniors/ $30-Professionals
