NSMH Scholarships

In conjunction with NSMH Platinum and Industry Partners, NSMH offers scholarship opportunities each year to its current members. Scholarships assist NSMH members in pursuing their higher education goals to become hospitality professionals. 

The deadline for the 2025-2026 Scholarship Applications is December 31, 2025. Note the scholarship will be issued for the following school year in August 2026. You must be enrolled full-time in order to qualify for the scholarship.

To apply for our scholarships, be prepared to submit the following:

• Listing of all extracurricular activities - including leadership positions held
• Listing of all honors/awards
• Unofficial transcript (official transcripts will be required prior to receiving scholarship awards)
• Resume
• One letter of recommendation (minimum; with a maximum of three)
• An essay of 250 - 500 words answering the following questions:
• Why are you interested in the hospitality field?
• What characteristics and qualifications will allow you to succeed?
• What are your plans as they relate to your educational and career objectives and future goals?
